Bad TV
In bed sick with cable television, preferably with HBO and the like, not too bad. In bed sick with cable television, which consists of basic channels, C-SPAN and the Hallmark Channel, pretty miserable. My cold took a turn for the worse and I am now on day two in bed. I have slim Netflix pickings, so I was forced to watch shows like Regis and Kelly (it remains unclear if I like her or loathe her), Magnum P.I., a variety of court-based television and what I believe might be the worst game show in the history of man, Street Smarts. They even have a website, should you be interested in reading more about the worst game show ever. Out of sheer boredom, I felt compelled, but then my sanity returned and I choose to watch Days of our Lives instead.
I never thought I would say this, but I really, really want to be better so I can go back to work or at least some lucidity to work on my thesis in bed. I really can't handle another episode of Jerry Springer.
Just to help you along, I thought I'd give you Grandma's secret Chicken Noodle Soup recipe that was handed down for generations (slightly modified for the 21st century):
1.) Get girlfriend/boyfriend to go to store.
2.) Have her/him buy can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup.
3.) Microwave on hi 5 minutes stirring once.
Hope you're feeling better soon.
By the way, almost as entertaining as reading what you write are the titles you give to your photos (Jerryinvasion?).

C'mon... Magnum PI isn't bad, it's awesome. There's a cool guy with a big moustache, a tropical island, lots of bad guys. I'm not sure you can ask for more in a television show!
Hope you get well soon.

Sam- I have two problems with your Grandma's secret Chicken Noodle Soup recipe. 1.) Boyfriend is out of town for work and no one else bound to do my bidding. 2.) I don't own a microwave. My kitchen is actually *that* small. Although I have been consuming a lot of Campbell Chicken Soup, it has been brought to a boil the old fashion way - on a stove.
Mick- If I found Tom Selleck the least bit attractive, I might be more excited about Magnum P.I. Otherwise, I am afraid man with moustache, tropical island and bad guys, does not a good show make in my book.
