Smooth!

After all my C++ whining, see what I got yesterday:

Ursula,
I must congratulate you. After two builds of p17.07.00 there are *no* errors due to your interface change. I don't believe that we've *ever* had this massive (in terms of number of packages that needed to change) that built cleanly in so little time. Your work getting all the required changes coordinated and accomplished is paid off.

... with a CC to half of the collaboration! Alan is the responsible for all the software builds and people keep asking me how I managed to get a compliment! Probably just because I scared them to death with my last-minute-interface change. And I am deeply in dept those trying to run the stuff and bugging me, because something was not working and helped to find the solutions – that’s really how we got a version together before the built started.

But still, I am so pleased with Alan’s mail – recognition is just sweet soother for the soul, who isn't longing for! It certainly always comes for something I would at least expect it for! and I am still nervous that we will find a problem...

PS: I am really no whiz!

And CONGRATULATIONS!

Hehehe, congrats! You don't like C++, but C++ seems to like you... :)

hmm, I am not that sure about C++ liking me - I just found a bug! Software is a neverending story..

Wow! That is impressive!
