New Poster Done

Well, my new poster for the Gordon Conference is finally finished.  I don't think that it is quite as good as my last one, but there is not a prize for this poster session, so I am resolved not to worry about it.  :)  At any rate, I am glad that it is done.  Tomorrow I will pick it up so it will be ready to go with me on Saturday morning.

One of my advisors, David, came into my office and checked the poster out as I was working on it on my floor (I print large drafts as I go along and scribble all sorts of notes onto the drafts).  He seemed to think that it was good and was coming along nicely.  I kind of feel bad because I was so tired today that I really did not have too much energy for conversation about how my analysis work on the data we took with transversely-polarized beam during the G0 running is going.  I only really managed to convey that I am rather frustrated with it at the moment, but David is a cool guy, so I am confident that we'll just talk about it when I get back from Maine.  Who knows?  Maybe I'll even figure out why things aren't quite working out the way they should by then, not to mention that I will be all re-energized by the lovely New England scenery.  :)

I am tired enough that I think that I will just head home after work tonight instead of going to watch a movie with my friends at the Franco-American Film Festival 2005.  I was looking forward to hanging out with everyone, but maybe I will go home and pack up my stuff for the journey to Maine so that I can hang out with all my friends tomorrow night instead.  :)
