Do you Flat Iron your hair?

It is the last two days of school before finals week. Of the year. Everyone is relaxing. I spent almost an hour chatting with one of our undergraduates about to head off to Wisconson for graduate school. That would never happen at any other time in the year. Don't ever let anyone tell you professors don't get spring fever the same way their students do!!

Students from the class I'm teaching were just getting out of their very last tutorial and I ran into them on the way back from buying lunch. One asked "Do you flat iron your hair? We've been debating this all year!" (I had to google that to make sure I knew what they were talking about!). I'm now making their final exam just a little bit harder. ;-)

I've spent almost a year teaching this group. A really smart group too. Because we've been together almost a year we basically know each other, which makes teaching the class a lot of fun for me. I'm going to miss them.

So, do you flat iron your hair? :-)

It's all natural!

You still haven't admitted a shampoo.

Oh great. As if your tests aren't hard enough! although, I have to say, I think the laugh was worth it!

I have really really curly hair and going to the salon all the time and putting out 50 bucks was such a waste of time when I could do the job myself, all I needed was a good flatiron. I bought a sedu flat iron a few months ago from Folica (http://www.folica.com ) and it permanately stays by the sink for everday usage. It even straightened it when it was curly. I have recommended it to people and work and two co-workers have bought it having the same great results.
