Budapest: First Post

Herewith begins the travelogue part of QD5, as I have just arrived in Budapest for Quark Matter (which I've mentioned a few times).  It's been quite a few days, from the shores of Amagansett beach visiting my sister & her family for a couple of days, back to New York to do my last-minute errands, and then finally to JFK to begin my trip to Hungary.  Of course, things are never that easy, with the usual over-long layover in a random European hub (Brussels this time) and an arrival in a beautiful, but strange city, where people speak a lot more German than English.  That said, it was relatively mishap-free to get to my hotel, in the center of the Pest side, and then to find a southbound tram to cross the Danube river.  OK, so when you get off the tram, there are no signs or even streets to guide you, but my memory of the conference map was just good enough to nudge me in the right direction towards the Physics and Chemistry building at the university. 

Anyway, so here I am, ready and willing to report any and all new wrinkles.  This is where the field (RHIC & SPS types both) let loose with the latest and greatest, and it's often quite hard to process in real time (individual collaborations get to have the "huh?[scratch head]" phase for a few months before the conference...not so for the spectators to the new stuff).  So bear with me, folks.

Hello.. just droppin' by. By the way I'm Mary Joy from Philippines, a 3rd year Information Technology student. So glad to know that Physicist like you still have time for other stuffs like Blogging. Actually, I never heard of CERN until I read Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I was so astonished of what I discover about CERN. I even thought of working there... how ambitious I am.. but sad to say I'm not a Physics-geek, I even got low grades in my physics subject. But I am really interested to learn Physics but I prefer to learn it outside the school.. I want to see actual experiments, particles..and everything about it. I am the same person as marie before but i use my true name: i don't want to be confused, because of the situation (too detailed to be on a blog) with the person named mary. I said to some i had one pseudo marie. It was purely one joke talking of ticket flight but i am wondering if i would induce some idea to some and i wouldn't want your journey would be one travel's agency one.
As i give my true name, can i asked you to transmit my best souvenir to Mister Bolek Wyslouch i met in 1981.I fair he wouldn't be sure to recognyze me as i give my true name. Of course he is belonging to the staff of QM2005.

First of all: One idea i got this morning in my house: Biology field: Is it so difficult to introduce ADN NON CODANT in place of CELLULES SOUCHES. What are incrustations of drug in the ADN? I would like something like one confortable information about the relationship beetwen the rate od ADN non codant and the composition of cellules souches compared to others items where is the ADN. The same trip than what we know about the role of mitochondries related to the core of the element. Sending and another one later because i nearly lost this writing because of the net. Coming back again: I had one look on all the blog: new mode every body comments the article in public? The last energy spectrum of a relativistic electron beam... in Physical Review Letters linked by Caolionn looks very differently in black and white: one bone with very much arthrose in the kneee..; I confirm the comments i will do latter. I noted perfectly that the man working on one new algorythm is commenting on line in dialogue artefacts and semantics misundertanding in the concepts...Just yesterday.I am not the only one with vocabulary problems and i unnderstand why Gordon watts seems to be preocuppated to know if bloggers are or are not from physics world.. The next time i will send all to the Nobel Price Foundation!!! I explain, for fun. I succeeded with pain because demotivated one Scientific baccalaureat: when i learned in the middle class before the BAC,at the hour having to choice, the teacher said "Les A (littéraires) c'est de la crotte". I swear it is true. So i decided to work again mathematicals. The year before the teacher was one young very timid man always facing the young girls ( i was in province in one lycée only for girls) with one RED face.. So i didn't learn any lesson. The year after at this moment of choice, i had one ZERO in mathematical: i wasn't able to calculate the surface of one circle because of the precedent year but i would have been able to extract the racine carrée of the result of the calculation of the surface du cercle. So i received for all the trimestre the note of 9: the other works where more goods. But they said i was bad. I worked and i was the second one in the class and they put me in the scientific section. But they didn't explain to me the interest or the aim for extracting the racine carrée of the circle. So i was completely demotivated and i got one very bad Baccalaureat. But, as Eintein was in the same situation and succeded to produce good ideas later, i have to send to the Nobel Price Foundation.I think i am logical but i am not sure, knowing the syllogisme of Socrate, that even the logique floue would be consistant with my exposé..Two conclusions: i have one common point with mister Wyslouch: he was received second to the entry to the MIT as student. But in am not really sure it is more logical than the precedent exposé.

Second conclusion: it is a pity: i forgot it as i forgot the extraction of racine carrée.

Conclusion after interferences: i think and i have already said it: physicists wear one new paradygme for the biology, specially when they define some strange exotic new gas or liquid like state of matter containing in their definition more than all the biology field itself to impulse new way in hypothesis in this one.
I read yesterday one brief article on the variability of WEAK force.. I am sure i will be pleased to connect my feeling to the TINIES variations and their location on your yellowred bidule. For external peoples it is crazy to receive it without any explanation about one eventual link with one part of another or precedent representations we got on the net. But it is your job. Not public. Physics world looks like one opened to every body without the mode d'emploi: You talk together from one to one like one reality show that we can't understand.
Thanks for your attention. For the truth i felt desesperated and this time not for fun when i heard dysfonctionements in France into the keeping procedures of foetus in Hospital: A few weeks ago a lot of laboratories recognyzed publicly that they arranged their results to publish in response to one inquiry of Insttitut Pasteur. grave crisis: i wrote my god about Monte Carlo (one french song: tu n'as pas vu monte carlo, non je n'ai vu monter personne..)my god.
Scientifics would have found the hormone of the believing in god, and the croyance "fashions" you as the same as you are able to live more later...
I would have been better to take time to read about vieillissement in Monte Carlo statistiques. I retire my god for ever. I should have to pry for ... What? I am born Athée and i didn't ever succeed to find any logical appearance inside the idea of god.

Good afternoon mister Steinberg: you are informed that one precious text disappeared twice on the blog i wanted to comment: Gordon Watts.
So new version with one introduction:
